The Centre for Sustainable Development (CSD) will be conventional reach in University of Management and Technology (UMT) with the belief that our country is in dire need of a development which should sustain as our remote locations have always necessitated a high level of self-sustainability. Our communities are perfect for the creation and testing viability of working models, and our vision demands that we live well in this place.
Sustainability science probes interaction between human and natural systems, the complex mechanisms that lead to degradation of these systems, and concomitant risks to human well-being. As a trans disciplinary academic discipline, it can point the way to a sustainable global society by identifying and addressing complex challenges that traditional academic disciplines have not addressed.
